Good midrange semi automatic espresso machine with a sleek design.
Every morning, I brew a cup of coffee before work. Of course, I go through this monotonous routine every morning. A trip to Europe introduced me to the espresso! No doubt, the streets of Rome are lined with espresso shops. The intense, robust flavor of this hot beverage had me hooked from the first sip! In fact, espresso machines in commercial cafes cost thousands of dollars. Of course, this is not in my budget. In my opinion, the BES840XL Infuser Espresso Machine makes an excellent cup of espresso. Furthermore, this model brews cafe-quality espresso from the comforts of your home. It does this while saving you big bucks from going to cafes!
Features of this Breville Infuser
The pre-infusion process is a major feature of this Breville espresso machine. Applying low water pressure during the start of extraction allows the grinds to gently expand before blasting the grinds with a higher pressure. Consequently, this leads to an even extraction and a better tasting espresso. As a matter of fact, it has a PID to ensure brew temperature is regulated. Although, this model doesn’t allow you to control or set the brew temperature. The brewer has a pressure gauge display and automatic volumetric controls. Therefore, you can expect consistent, robust espresso each and every time! Moreover, this brewer has a steam wand to make cappuccinos and lattes. In addition, you will have to get your own grinder. However, you can’t make a great cup of espresso without a quality grinder. In my opinion, the learning curve isn’t too steep.
..To conclude the Breville BES840XL Review..
In conclusion, the BES840XL is a great purchase for those looking for a robust espresso. However, you cannot brew and steam milk simultaneously like the upgraded Breville 920XL. The ergonomics of this brewer makes it easy to use consistently. All things considered, this machine is worth the extra change. Above all, this brewer performs exceptionally.
